Imprimis Group has partnered with a fast-growing Oil & Gas company in the Dallas-Fort Worth area to hire a Recruiting & Onboarding Coordinator to support high-volume hiring and onboarding operations. This role will focus primarily on coordinating onboarding activities, maintaining communication with new hires, tracking employment requirements, and ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding experience from start to finish.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-driven, and passionate about building strong teams that reflect the company’s values and culture. This position offers the opportunity to gain well-rounded HR experience in a collaborative and growth-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Onboarding:
- Coordinate all new hire onboarding activities, including paperwork, pre-employment testing, and compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate employee records within HRIS/ATS systems.
- Partner with hiring managers to develop role-specific onboarding plans.
- Support general HR functions, including metrics tracking (time-to-fill, turnover, source effectiveness) and employee engagement initiatives.
- Contribute to projects related to talent acquisition, training, benefits, and overall employee experience.
Recruitment:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and create job postings.
- Source, screen, and conduct phone interviews for hourly and entry-level positions.
- Schedule interviews and coordinate communication throughout the hiring process.
- Provide candidates with a professional, positive recruiting experience from start to finish.
- Manage offer process and coordinate pre-employment checks (background, drug testing, etc.).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred (equivalent experience accepted).
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3+ years of experience in recruiting, onboarding, or related HR role.
- Knowledge of recruiting best practices, employment laws, and onboarding compliance.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with HRIS and/or ATS systems required.
- Attention to detail and passion for creating an exceptional candidate and employee experience.
